Research Seminar on Healthcare Commissioning

You are invited to a seminar being organised by the Policy Research Unit in Commissioning and the Healthcare System. The aim of the seminar is to discuss current commissioning policy in England including:

– Current policy developments
– Early findings from the national research programme on Clinical
   Commissioning Groups (CCGs)
– A view from the front line
– Performance and governance issues

Speakers include:
Ian Ellis (Team Leader for the Mandate group within the NHS Commissioning Policy and Sponsorship Unit
on the NHS Policy & Outcomes Group at the Department of Health) and
Pia Clinton-Tarestad (Head of Commissioning Policy and Resources, Commissioning Development, NHS Commissioning Board)
